History: Adrienne and Scarlett were both born on the 28th May. Their births were pretty straight forward and natural although their mother went through a long labor. However the twins were delivered safely. As children they had pretty much anything their hearts desired. Their father was one of the top lawyers in New York and their mother a famous fashion designer, so they had money to spoil their children with. However Adrienne and Scarlett were taught the values of life and to not take things for granted. Their parents done a great job raising them. Yes they did get what they wanted, but as their parents had taught them, they didn't take the things they got for granted. IT was just as easy to loose something than to get.
At sixteen Adrienne seemed to be ill alot, even if she caught something as simple as a cold it would make her bedridden for two weeks. For a while her family wasn't too worried, they just thought that maybe she had a weak immune system. But after two years of constant infections and such, the doctor referred her to a hospital to have blood tests and scans. Just to rule out anything that could be making her ill. After a grueling month, the tests came back. Adrienne had Leukemia. Her whole world shattered hearing that, knowing she wouldn't live to see twenty five. The doctors said she probably only had another five years left, if she was lucky and that was with treatment. If she didn't have the treatment then it would only be a few months.
Adrienne was a fighter and she wanted to have the treatment. Yes it would be painful and she was going to suffer big time, but if it meant spending more time with her family, then she was going to do it. By the time she was twenty, she was bald from the chemo, on a drip and a respirator as she found it hard to breath without the help of a oxygen machine. But still, Adrienne managed to smile and laugh when she was with her friends and family. Another two years passed and Adrienne was barely awake. She just seemed to sleep. This was tearing her family apart, watching her suffer. So one night, they decided to 'help' her. End her suffering. They all went in and said their goodbyes and gave her gifts. Then once everyone had said good bye, her mother injected her that would peacefully end her life.
Not even a minute after the injection, Adrienne's heart stopped beating. The next thing Adrienne knew she was waking up in a place she did not recognise but felt extremely at home at. She didn't recognise anyone around her, but she heard someone say something about New Haven. Was she getting a second chance to live the life she never had?[/justify][/blockquote][/size]
