General Description: Garen is much like his brother in the fact that he is compassionate towards his beliefs in helping people out and working for himself and others to have a better life. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and his brother and doesn't pick fights but he will end them. When he is in his principal role he is a tough but gentle mentor and will help out any student who needs it. He isn't a very good flirt when there is a girl he is interested in and he tends to babble around the girl he likes. When he is at the bar he tends to keep to himself and watch out for the riff raff and rowdy bunch of people. He like his brother has a good memory and remembers small details along with big details. He also has a connection to his brother like most twins have, and now that they are in the after life they can kind of communicate mentally.

Other: He has three children two of whom are still alive although they are in their late 60's and 70's and has about 6 grandchildren who are in their 40's and 30's and he has 4 great grandchildren 2 boys and 2 girls who are teenagers.
Overview: Garen was born 30 minutes before his brother Niklaus on August 5th 1905 in Berlin Germany. He and his brother had a happy childhood and looked alike when they were younger, when the first war started Garen and Niklaus watched their father go off to war. When Garen was 14 Niklaus came to him and confessed his feelings for a guy they both knew. Garen was a bit off putted but decided that his brother wasn't any different than before.
When Garen was 15 he met a lovely girl named Arabella who was new to Berlin, he courted her and was granted permission to marry her by the time he was 17 years old. His first son Niklaus Diedrich Almeric was born first in 1922 he and his family was particularly happy. In 1930 Garen and Arabella had their daughter Antonia and their family grew, Garen worked at the Bar with his brother. In 1939 when the war started Garen kept to himself not ratting his brother out and protecting his brother's preferences. However on December 10, 1939 Garen witnessed his brother's murder while being restrained by other SS officers. Garen became depressed and while Arabella was pregnant with their third child, their happy home was ransacked by depression and guilt.
In April of 1940 they had their third child and named him Jurgen Leon Almeric but Garen didn't stay with Anabella instead he moved out of Berlin into the country where he lived with his sister Isolde and her family. On the one year anniversary of his brothers death, Garen went out to the river and jumped in, he pulled out his knife and opened up his veins in the cold water he then lay face down and let death take him.
When he woke up he was in a new world, he looked around and the first thing he saw was his twin brother looking down at him with a big grin on his face. They embraced and then Niklaus explained what was happening and Garen knew that he could trust him. He felt complete again. He would go back and forth to watch his children grow up and would sneak money to his former wife and soon his children would receive help as well. He began his reaper duties and in 1968 he became the principal of the high school which is what he's done for a long time. He and his brother own a home that they use as a half way house for those in need and he is content with his life having moved on to where he is now.
