General Description: He's always been known as the 'smart one'. Even back when he was alive, he was always the guy that got picked on because he was the kind who liked to stay inside and read books instead of going out and causing trouble, or hanging out at the candy shop. He had always wanted to become the town doctor. So he focused on making something of himself, and because he was misunderstood, he never wants anyone to feel that way or worthless and he cares about other people. Especially younger people. He has developed a bit of a habit of flirting with pretty faces, but most of his core ideals from when he was alive have endured in New Haven.

Overview: Born in England, Salizar's life was pretty much normal for the early 1900s. He grew up in a small town, and there were naturally bullies and such in town who loved to pick on him because he was the nerd of the class. He was generally thought of as an outcast, never really fitting in, so he spent a lot of time reading whatever books he could get his hands onto. He went on to school in his adult years to become a doctor and became the town doctor where he lived. He went from house to house performing what ever duties he was able to do so, finding that he loved working the most with the younger people, having a bit of a soft spot for children. When he was twenty-eight, however, he was asked to come out to a house for the family's young daughter had been attacked by a wild dog.
He arrived at the house but was to late to save the daughter. It was one of his greatest regrets. It was perhaps why he was one of those in the town who went out in search of the dog to put it down so that it would harm no other. But as luck would have it, Salizar was attacked by the dog when they finally caught up with it. And being as he was the only town doctor and he was obviously unable to heal himself, he bled out in a manner of moments after the other men managed to detach the dog from his throat. Though because of the work he'd done while alive, he was brought to New Haven with the option of becoming a doctor there for the children that were brought there, and he agreed. That was so long ago though, and by now, Salizar has other duties as well.
As one of the senior Reapers under the original immortals, Salizar is sometimes asked to go into the world of the living to aid those who may need guidance, and to learn all that he can of modern medicine to bring back to the New Haven hospital so that the care remains up-to-date. Salizar takes his job very seriously, and though none of his patients can ever die a second time, he still strives to make sure that they are all in as little pain as possible and strives to treat them with the very best care that can be provided.
